The Council is working towards introducing a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) towards the end of this year, and will shortly consult on its Draft Charging Schedule, which will replace Plymouth’s existing Development Tariff as the main means of securing pooled contributions to provide the infrastructure required to accommodate growth in the city. The rates proposed are overall the lowest in the country to date.
