Plymouth City Council is registered in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 for the purpose of processing personal data in the performance of its legitimate business.

Any information held by the Council will be processed in compliance with the principles set out in the Act.

The preparation of the Core Strategy is a public process and your full representation and address details must be made public for this purpose.

The full details will be available at the Civic Centre for any visitor to read and take notes. The Plymouth City Council web site will also show your full representation and your name and address.

If you agree your telephone number and / or email address will also be shown on the Council web site.

Representations must not be signed so that your signature is not automatically scanned and placed on the web site. The Council will attempt to avoid signatures of people appearing on the Council web site but cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from a representation being submitted that includes a persons signature.

Any person can ask to be included on a contact list maintained by the Council. This contact list will contain name, mailing address, email address, fax and telephone numbers. The Council may use one or several methods to provide information to those on this contact list but does not guarantee that it will use all or any method to provide information.

If you choose to be notified of further progress about the subject of your representation then your contact details will be used by the Council to contact you regarding matters relating to Plymouth City Council Services.

It is your responsibility to update the details on the contact list.  You can do this on the Council web site or by contacting the Strategy Unit on 01752 305477, ldf@plymouth.gov.uk, or Strategy Unit, Civic Centre,
